Welcome to my Peace Corps blog! I started the journey to becoming a Peace Corps Volunteer and am so excited! Peace Corps is something I have always wanted to do and I am ready now more than ever. Below I have included my Peace Corps timeline if you are interested.
Timeline:
1/13/09-Submitted first part of the application; two references completed and submitted.
1/19/09-Peace Corps recruiter, Valerie, called me to ask me some questions and see if I had any questions.
1/20/09- Received the toolkit in the mail. Got fingerprints done, completed legal forms and additional essays. Legal kit was sent back on the 21st.
1/22/09-My two last references completed and submitted forms. I'm on my way to hopefully becoming a Peace Corps Volunteer!
